Psychic Mediums
Mediums are ordinary people who have through
specific
training developed their natural psychic ability to enhance them to
communicate with the Spirit world.
Types of
Mediumship
Clairvoyance
'Clear
seeing' - The medium will see pictures in their head, which can be of
people, pets, places or events that have taken place in either the
spirits or recipients life. Sometimes the pictures that can be seen by
the medium can also be symbolic, so the medium needs to recognise this
and interpret the meaning behind the symbol.
Most
mediums see this way but there are some that will see externally. These
mediums will see the spirit person actually standing in front of them or
within the recipient of the message.
Clairaudience
'Clear
hearing' - The medium will hear a voice in their head (usually their own
voice) which will give them information. This might just be the odd word
or a full conversation with the spirit communicator. There are some
mediums that do hear the voice externally but most do not.
Clairsentience
The spirit
communicator will utilise the mediums senses to relay their message. The
medium may just feel what the communicator wishes them to say or be
drawn to parts of their body by what appears to be pain or discomfort,
but then disappears when the medium relays the problem to the recipient.
Clair-knowing
This means
that the medium just knows the information but they do not know on which
sense it was received. They just know what they have to say to the
message recipient.
There is
one sense that I have not mentioned and people who say they are not
mediums have mentioned this sense. This is the sense of smell. The
medium may smell an aroma that they need to tell the message recipient
about, and this maybe tobacco or a perfume like Lilly of the valley.
Often the recipient will confirm that they have smelt the same aroma
within their own homes and had wondered where it had come from, or that
the aroma always happened when they were thinking about a certain person
who had passed over.
Most
mediums will work with all of the above senses, with some senses being
more dominant than others, depending on who the medium is and how the
spirit communicator wishes to relay the information.
The medium
will speed up their own energy field, the aura, and then expand the
field. The spirit communicator will slow their vibrations down and then
blend with the mediums aura, and this is how the communication takes
place. As both energies are fluctuating then this means that the medium
may only receive part of what is being transmitted to them, or at times
get the message or its interpretation wrong if it is symbolic.
As the
communication is a blending of the spirits energy with the mediums, then
it can be affected by other energies that are around, and also by those
of the sitter. Although the medium gets the blame if the information is
incorrect, or the communication seems to be an effort. The sitter needs
to be aware that the environment and their energy can and does affect
the communicator.
The reason for so many forms of mediumship is because our friends in the
spirit world will use whatever means they can to get through and help us to
understand the truth of everlasting life.
The term medium denotes the person’s ability to experience contact with the
spirits of the deceased, and angels. The medium typically acts as a
facilitator between the spirit and the non-mediumistic people.
